If Bruce Arena steps down as US national team coach after the World Cup, who should replace him?

The US lost badly to the Czechs, which doesn’t bode well for the rest of the tournament. If they do bow out of the tournament in the first round, my guess is that Arena will probably leave his position. If that does happen, who should replace him? Would a Luis Filipe Scolari be tempted to leave the Portugal team for the chance of guiding the United States team to the 2010 World Cup in South Africa? Or will US Soccer go after someone like Bolton Wanderers Sam Arradyce, passed over for the England job? Or will US Soccer try to stay in house with the new national coach?
