What do you think of South Africa now that you have seen images of xenophobic attacks?

Zack C asked:
South Africa has been in crises over the past two weeks because of xenophobic attacks. People in poor communities are killing and chasing away foreign nationals from their communities. The international media has beamed horrific images to othe rparts of the world and what I would like to know is the following:
Do you think South Africa is capable of hosting the 2010 soccer world cup after the recent xenophobic attacks?
Will you visit South Africa as a holiday destination?
And what do you think of South Africa now?

It is all because the leadership of the ANC support Robert Mugabe who is ruining and killing his own people!! They flee to South Africa taking jobs and committing crime in order to live!!
The answer is to get rid of Tabo Mbeki and put decent leadership in. But sadly that is unlikely to happen – Why? Because Mugabe has the dirt on the ANC leaders terrorist activities and if they oppose him he will expose them!!!
The 2010 world cup should be reassigned now!!!

For every action there is a reaction.Could this be their reaction.for many decades they were treated little better than animals and sometimes worse.I am not condoning these actions but,I can sure as hell understand them. No,I will not visit South Africa,I am white and there is nothing about me that would differentiate me from the whites that opressed them for so long.

Most of the countries which came out of the clutches of colonial masters are reeling under mismanagement and the government is not able to anything to control the people. It is understandable that the people free from the bondage of slavery are likely to go overboard. But a leader who takes the rein after slavery will have to be tough so much as to make the people realise the importance of consolidating the gains of freedom. Freedom does not mean the right to indulge in irresponsible acts of hooliganism. Many who had been to South Africa vouch for the fact that there is no security for the life and limbs of the people especially those of foreign origins. A leader should emerge to put down the unruly behaviour of the people under tight check so that the country is put on the right track towards freedom and prosperity.

South Africa has been in crisis for the last 14 years and not just the last 2 weeks. Up to 80 people are murdered every day, a woman is raped every 3 minutes, car jacking is so rifr that Newspapers no longer bother to report it, Tourists are attacked and robbed at every Tourists site including having their luggage looted at all the Airports so what is new?
South Africa is ruled by an axis of evil – the black-nationalist, racist African National Congress (ANC), the S.A. Communist Party and the Marxist trade union grouping, Cosatu.
They have lied to the World about the reality of South Africa aided and abetted by a PC Liberal Press in the West.
The only reason the World Cup was awarded to South Africa in the first place was on the back of corruption between Blatter of FIFA and the ANC who promised to get a block African vote to re-elect him President of FIFA in exchange.
The World Cup should be removed to safer climes immediately otherwise many deluded Liberals from Europe are going to experience the African mentality first hand – to their regret.

It’s Racism Not Xenophobia.
If a white attacked a foreigner from Mozambique or Zimbabwe would it be called Xenophobia?! I think not.
Don’t be fooled by the ANC, Xenophobia is just the governments convenient spin on the subject; as according to them only whites can be racist in South Africa!
To answer your very relevant question, South Africa is just following the trend of the rest of sub-Saharan Africa, albeit a lot faster than was initially thought by most, thanks to the present bunch of Kleptomaniac, power hungry, corrupt, incompetent despots.
People who promote SA as a holiday destination, without warning tourists as to the out of control crime, have blood on their hands.
