Like I said before France might’ve cheated their way in but they are still a strong contender, maybe not as good as before but they’re there. France was a powerhouse. They really only qualified due to blind refs and cheating.
Uruguay was 5th place in South America.

@DeepJazzful Very hard to say as the bottom half is sooo tough with Brazil, Spain, Italy and Netherlands. Honestly, I think any of those 4 would be favorite to come out of the top half of the draw. But hey, luck is important. Whomever makes the final out of the bottom totally deserves it. I have to say Brazil and the top half is wide open. Unless, Argentina get a new coach I can’t pick them, Germany IMO is overrated, England always chokes, but that leaves who???

@iphone4idiots ……….. I think your underestimating Mexico the host’s and of course Uruguay. Group A isn’t that easy, no matter how much people think South Africa sucks, truth is they will be in the next round whether we like it or not, FIFA will find a way for them to be there trust me on this, no host nation has ever failed to advance to the next round in the history of WC. 2ndly Uruguay might’ve struggled in South America but they are strong and Mexico always their best against powerhouse

If anything I think the US have a better unchallenging group. iphone4idiots you pretty much nailed it overall it was pretty straight forward and I agreed with most of your predictions aside from a couple but overall you were right on. I think we will have a pretty interesting round of 16 this year. I cant wait 3 more months!!!!!!! Let’s all enjoy this WC since it is the only sport tournament that comes once every 4 years!!! @ iphone4idiots …………. I’m not sure what you mean by Mexico being “lucky” in Group A. It is clearly the 2nd hardest group aside from Brazils Group of Death. Mexico has it really hard they will be facing first n foremost the host’s, which may not be a potential nation in soccer but if u look at the stats in history of the WC, no host nation has ever failed to advance to the first round, coincidence? France is always a powerhouse even though i hate them and Uruguay are strong and fierce

Sure France sucks, but who can blame them having a coach that decides to line them up according to their star signs or even leaves out of the game precious players just for being Scorpio or Leo?
France team has got players that many of the big teams could only dream of.

So what did we learn today???
1) France still sucks. They don’t deserve to be in WC, but at least they won’t be there long.
2) Algeria has no chance of making it out of their Group. I mean they still have time to turn it around, but not much.
3) Not sure what to make of Germany/Argentina? Is it Argentina is improving a lot or is Germany not quite as good as we think?
4) What was up with Greece?

Lastly, I said before, I filmed this withing an hour of the draw. That’s why I didn’t give a few teams the respect they deserve like the Danes.
The big points are France sucks and shouldn’t even be in WC let alone group A. USA got very lucky and will advance (just ask Vegas).
